A drug gang that had been conducting «entrepreneurial activities» for a year was exposed in Mykolaiv Oblast.
The organizer is a resident of Mykolaiv. He involved four men and five women, including drug addicts, aged 29 to 40, in the drug business. Each had their own functions. The organizer created an online store in a popular messenger. There he posted information about the available narcotics and psychotropic substances available for sale, their weight and price. When he received the order, his accomplices packed and sent the goods by postal service and placed the bookmarks around the city, the Mykolaiv region police communications department said.
The perpetrators were caught and reported on suspicion. The pre-trial investigation has now been completed. An indictment against seven perpetrators has been sent to the prosecutor's office. They are accused of illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, committed by an organized group. The perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The criminal activities of the group were exposed by investigators of the investigative department of the regional police headquarters, employees of the regional department of strategic investigations of the State Security Service of the National Police, with the operational support of the USBU in the Mykolaiv region and under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
