Star actress Emily Blunt, who will appear in “Openheimer” Christopher Nolan, will join the equally stellar Ryan Gosling in the new film “Stuntmen” (The Fall Guy). Deadline sources report this.

The film will be inspired by the 80s TV series of the same name about a Hollywood stuntman who spoofs as a detective and bounty hunter. The director of the project is David Leitch (“Rather a ball”). Drew Pearce wrote the screenplay and serves as executive producer. But the plot is still unknown.

Gosling will also be a producer. Jeff Shevitz and original series creator Glenn A. Larson will also serve as executive producers. EVP of Production Matt Reilly will handle the project on behalf of Universal. Production on the film is set to begin in Australia this fall, according to Deadline.
A release date of March 1, 2024 has also been announced.
