Elon Musk will create a separate application for artificial intelligence Grok

The Wall Street Journal reports: Elon Musk has announced the launch of a separate application for his artificial intelligence Grok, which was integrated into the social platform X (formerly Twitter). According to the report, Grok will receive a special application that will allow users to interact with artificial intelligence separately from the social network.

Grok is a competitor to the popular ChatGPT and is owned by the company xAI, founded by Musk. According to the developers, the main advantage of this artificial intelligence is the rapid response to current events thanks to access to data from the X social platform. Grok was launched on the platform in November 2023 and is available in three subscription levels: basic, professional and premium.

In the new application, Grok will retain integration with X, which will allow it to analyze the latest news and trends in real time. Musk noted that the goal of the innovation is to make artificial intelligence more accessible to a wider audience, and also expand its functionality and attract more users.

An important feature of Grok is its «sarcastic style» of responses, which Musk called his unique feature. However, in the new program, the capabilities of AI will be much broader, which will allow it to be used more effectively for business, education and other tasks.

The announcement of the launch of a separate application was part of Musk's large-scale strategy for the development of xAI and the introduction of artificial intelligence into various areas of life. It is expected that details about the new product will be presented in the coming months.
