Elon Musk said that 1,000 Optimus humanoid robots will work for him in a year

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is betting big on Optimus robots. Musk believes that humanoids, which should go on sale next year, will raise the value of Tesla to $25 trillion. The businessman also said that in a year more than 1,000 such robots will be working at the company's factories. Musk believes that the Optimus robot will become Tesla's most important product and accelerate the company's growth. Previously, the billionaire's company demonstrated a robot similar to the famous Boston Dynamics humanoids, which performed dexterous hand movements, folded things, practiced yoga and danced.

At the shareholders' meeting, Musk said that the market for humanoid robots will be about 1 billion units per year, and Tesla will be able to supply "at least 10% of this volume". He expects that Optimus robots will cost about $10,000 to manufacture and sell for $20,000, bringing in $1 trillion in annual revenue.

Musk noted that expects that next year Tesla factories will be working with "thousand to several thousand robots". A video published on the company's blog on the X network shows the first prototypes of robots already working in the factory.

It is worth noting that Musk's ambitious statements do not always become reality, or at least take more time. for implementation.
