Elon Musk intends to terminate the deal to buy Twitter. The potential buyer was unable to obtain accurate data on the number of spam accounts on the social network. According to the agreement, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX must pay $44 billion for the social network, according to CNBC.
Twitter Chairman Bret Taylor quickly responded to this statement, saying that the company's board of directors still awaits the full completion of the deal on agreed price and plans to take legal action to enforce the agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Musk agreed to pay $1 billion if he refused to buy the company.
Recall that BAGNET previously reported that at the end of April Elon Musk launched a deal to acquire Twitter for $44 billion. In early May, it became known that the entrepreneur would temporarily take over as CEO of the social network.
