Elon Musk called for the re-election of the UK government, accusing it of ignoring the rape of minors

American businessman Elon Musk has been actively calling for new elections in the UK in recent days. In particular, he began to accuse British high-ranking officials of ignoring the rape of underage girls by migrants.

He wrote about this in a series of posts in X.

Developing relationships with various far-right figures in Europe, Musk actively supports Tommy Robinson, who is called one of the most famous British far-right agitators.

Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) is currently in contempt of court for repeatedly making false accusations against a Syrian refugee. He is known for his anti-Islamist and anti-immigrant views, according to the WP. Robinson has had several run-ins with the law over the years, and in 2021 he lost a defamation lawsuit brought by Syrian refugee teenager Jamal Hijazi. The court ruled that he was prohibited from repeating the false claims (which he did anyway).

In 2018, Robinson was banned from Twitter for violating the platform’s hate speech policies. But Musk reinstated his account after buying the company.

Currently, Musk has joined calls to release Robinson, and has also recently been actively promoting his «documentary» about gangs that sexually abused underage girls in the UK.

The issue of child sexual exploitation has been a hot topic in the UK for several years. In 2022, an independent investigation found that the police and local authorities in Oldham were not doing enough to protect vulnerable children. Although no evidence of a deliberate cover-up by the authorities was found at the time, it was not immediately clear.

Despite the fact that the report covers cases dating back to 2005, right-wing political forces have blamed the Labour Party, which is currently in power. In particular, Labour has been criticized for not agreeing to a further public investigation by its representatives in Oldham.

Musk posted a series of messages on his social network X, accusing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer of failing to prosecute groups that systematically raped young girls.

«Starmer was complicit in the rape of [Great] Britain when he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service for 6 years. Starmer must go, and he must face charges of complicity in the worst mass atrocity in British history», — Musk wrote.

He also called for the imprisonment of the Minister for Protection and Violence against Women and Girls, Jess Phillips, accusing her of failing to hold a national inquiry. The official argued that this should be decided at the local level.

In several posts, Musk said that the country needed to hold new elections, launch a national investigation, and even supported the idea of the British king intervening in the situation. In addition, he accused the media of «covering up» information about the rape.

The UK Health Minister Wes Streeting said that Musk was «spreading information that is factually inaccurate». Streeting suggested that Musk «roll up his sleeves and cooperate» with the government in the fight against the perpetrators.

Another government official, Andrew Gwynne, urged Musk to «focus on the problems on the other side of the Atlantic».

According to Axios, Musk published at least 60 posts criticizing British politics in a few days. In addition, he actively criticized the German authorities, supporting the far-right «Alternative for Germany».
