American entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will have text formatting features. He announced this on his page in social media.
"This quarter we will add simple formatting features such as bold, underline and font size", — he wrote.
Musk explained this by allowing users of the social network to publish full texts on Twitter, and not force them to use other sites. At the same time, the entrepreneur indicated that the social network “will continue to recommend brevity in tweets.”
Earlier, Elon Musk announced several new features for Twitter, including the launch of long posts and a large-scale update of the interface. The owner of the social network also spoke about the "first part" large-scale update of the platform interface. He has not yet disclosed the details of this update.
Before that, Musk launched a poll on his social network on whether he should get involved in politics. The billionaire posted two answers in the poll. First — "keep away from politics", the second — "continue to shoot yourself in the leg".
