Moscow authorities do not plan to fine senior citizens of the capital during the coronavirus pandemic. This was confirmed by Sergei Sobyanin, who earlier called on pensioners not to leave their homes unnecessarily.

The authorities made recommendations because of the worsening epidemiological situation. At the same time, older people can still exercise outside or go for walks. Sobyanin warned the police not to take any measures of responsibility against pensioners, thereby avoiding misunderstandings. Muscovites still face a fine for visiting a store or other public places without a mask. The mayor of the city stressed that no one plans to block the social cards of pensioners either.
Residents of Moscow who continue to work after 65 years in order to switch to a remote work format will be able to receive sick leave at the request of the employer.
