On the day Ukraine celebrated the Day of the Flag and the Hero City of Kharkiv, the performer EL Kravchuk together with the ZSU Song and Dance Ensemble presented the lyrical song “Dear Kharkiv”.< /strong>

Due to constant enemy shelling, the life of the city has almost completely gone underground, but the indomitable people of Kharkiv continue to live, develop and bring Victory closer. A vivid example of this was the dedication song “Dear Kharkiv”.

The composition was written by an outstanding Ukrainian scientist, Kharkiv native and poet-songwriter Borys Hrynyov and composer Michael Nekrasov.

“Dear Kharkiv” is a living organism, a call to the world to once again pay attention not only to Kharkiv, but also to all Ukrainian cities in which Russia takes the lives of adults and children, destroys destinies and futures. This song is a challenge to the world community not to stop helping Ukraine, – notes Borys Hrynyov.

Composer Dmytro Konovalov and the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked on the arrangement under the leadership of Honored Artist of Ukraine Dmytro Zhanovych Antoniuk, and EL Kravchuk and two children's choirs of Kharkiv – People's Art Collectives Choir “Spring Voices” and Choir ” Singing birds” of the Kharkiv Regional Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity.

My life is closely connected with Kharkiv: here I began to play the main role in the play “Hamlet”, which became a theatrical legend, here I created many songs with Boris Hrynyov, here I played the role of Taras Shevchenko in the performance of the Kharkiv State Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater . Shevchenko. I often visit this city and see with my own eyes the horrors committed by the enemy, EL Kravchuk notes.

In the video for the song “Dear Kharkiv”, which was worked on by KharkivMediaHub, it is as if a real Kiev-Kharkiv TV bridge has been created, on the slopes of the Dnipro the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plays, EL Kravchuk sings, and within a minute we see children from the Kharkiv choir who, despite their young age have already experienced what war is like.

“Dear Kharkiv” has a big goal: to help the city develop. Due to constant rocket attacks, many important objects of Kharkiv were damaged, for example, the Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin.

If the city is to be rebuilt, it is worth starting with the “brain”. That's why we decided to start with the educational institution and urge you to join the collection for the restoration of the buildings of Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin, – concluded Hrynyov.

All funds from viewing the video clip and listening to the song on streaming sites will also be transferred for the restoration of the university. You can support the restoration of the buildings of Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin at this link.
