Environmentalists of Vinnytsia are investigating the cause of the mass plague of fish in Yuzhny Buz, located near the village of Stepashki in the Haysyn district. Now they are considering two possible versions. This is reported by “Suspilne”.
On September 7, Vinnytsia resident Oksana Pisarchuk published a video and photos of a stray fish on her Facebook page.
< p>In her message, she stated that a mass death of tons of fish has been observed in the Southern Bug River for the third day.
The State Production and Consumer Service did not analyze the dead fish, as this fish is not intended for consumption. Oleksandr Sorochan, the first deputy head of the regional administration, reported this to the “Society”.
The possible cause of the mass extinction of fish in the Southern Bug River near the village of Stepashki is being considered by the ecoinspection. According to its head, Yuriy Dubovoy, the fish washed ashore near the recreation center of the technical university may die due to lack of oxygen in the water. They are also considering another version.
"According to preliminary information, this is not a new plague, but the consequences of the one that happened two weeks ago. The current brought this fish here. It may also be related to the temperature regime, Yuriy Dubovy said.
