The capital “Dynamo” lost to the Turkish “Besiktas” 0:1 (2:4 in the sum of two matches) and was relegated from the Conference League. For the first time in 18 years, the Kyiv team will not be represented in the "European Cup Autumn".

The confrontation with "Besiktas"  in the playoffs of the Conference League, the Kyiv team started with a defeat in Bucharest with a score of 2:3. However, it still had a chance to advance to the group round – for this, it was necessary to beat the Turkish team in the second match. “Dynamo” could not.  At the start of the second half, “Dynamo” after an unsuccessful counterattack by “Dynamo” missed Forward Vincent Abubakar proved to be stronger in the fight against four football players from Kyiv, after which he scored an accurate shot into the far bottom corner of the goal – 1:0.

In this way, “Dynamo” for the first time in 18 years, there will be no “European Cup Autumn”. The last time this happened to Kyiv was in the 2005/06 season, when they were eliminated in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League by the Swiss Thun.
