According to him, the price of diesel fuel and gasoline in Kyiv ranges from 52 to 58 hryvnia, and in the Kyiv region it reaches 65 hryvnia.

Ruban stressed that his department constantly checks gas stations. If they find a gas station that sells gasoline for more than 52 hryvnia per liter, and diesel fuel for more than 58 hryvnia per liter, they are fined.

In addition, Ruban said that there was more low-quality fuel. This happened due to the intensification of the work of mini-refineries and due to the fact that back in March, due to the martial law in Ukraine, they stopped checking the quality of the fuel sold by gas stations. The State Food and Consumer Service has already turned to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to start checking the quality of fuel again.

Meanwhile , only in May in Kyiv 36 gas stations were fined for unreasonable price increases. The fine is 100% of the unreasonably received revenue.

Recall that in May, state regulation of prices for gasoline and diesel fuel was canceled in Ukraine. The owners of large chains of filling stations promised that they would not sell fuel for more than 52-58 hryvnia per liter.
