Fiat 500e gets two cool special versions/The Drive

The charming electric hatchback Fiat 500e gets a touch of class and refinement thanks to two special versions designed to represent the two “pillars of Italian culture”.

< p>Fiat 500e Inspired by Beauty and Inspired by Music– yes, that's exactly what they are called – they differ in their unique style and exquisite sound design, respectively. And what's even better is that they both cost $37,595, according to The Drive.

Let's start with the beauty, shall we? The Fiat 500e Inspired by Beauty comes with unique Rose Gold paint and body-colored mirrors, as well as chrome window inserts. Inside, it gets beige eco-leather on the seats and dashboard. And that's all, really.

However, the Fiat 500e Inspired by Music is only available in tuxedo black– standard 500e color to match the mood of Andrea Bocelli, who helped design its audio modes. Bocelli chose four different sound “fields” for the JBL audio system. Each of them alters the characteristics of the 500e's sound system in digital format in an attempt to meet the needs of the passengers. the artist is in the room with you;

  • “My recording studio”, which should sound like inside a recording studio;
  • “Giuseppe Verdi Opera House, Pisa”, which gives the feeling of a live performance;
  • and “Arena in the open sky”.

    < p>For the most part, both special versions of the Fiat 500e are mechanically identical to the standard 500e. However, there is one functional difference. Both “Inspired By” models feature the Level 2 Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which first appeared on the 500e. It uses adaptive cruise control and a lane keeping system, which allows you to temporarily abandon manual control on certain roads. Level 2 ADAS isn't currently available on the regular 500e, so if you want it, you'll have to buy one of these two special editions. Although Fiat hasn't said when, expect the standard car to get the Level 2 tech at some point.

    As for the rest of the car, they both keep the 500e's 42-kilowatt-hour battery, single front-mounted 117-horsepower of power, as well as a range of 240 kilometers. And it can still be charged from zero to full in four hours and 15 minutes on an 85 kW charger.

    The standard Fiat 500e starts from $34,095, so the Inspired By models aren't much more expensive, and they come with ADAS Level 2. So if you want an extra touch of class with your adorable electric hatchback, you don't have to pay too much.
