While the official release of Dragon Ball Daima is scheduled for next week, some Japanese fans had the chance to see the first episode in preview today, and the first reviews are clearly making us want it.
First feedback is more than promising for episode 1 of Dragon Ball Daima
The fall 2024 season is finally launched for anime fans, and many titles are expected. The program will include the continuation of very popular anime, such as season 2 of Blue Lock or the third part of the final arc of Bleach, entitled Thousand-Year Blood War. But there will also be new features, such as DanDaDan, as well as Dragon Ball Daima.
With a launch scheduled for October 11, 2024, Dragon Ball Daimais none other than the brand new anime in the franchise, immersing us in a completely original story imagined by the late Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. But before its official release, Japanese fans were able to see the first episode of the anime in preview during the Dragon Ball Daimatsuri, an event held today at Tokyo Big Sight.

It's been a while since Yashima-san has been this involved as a member of the animation team, and as expected, character designers Nakatsuru-sans and Kubota-san were perfect.
I can honestly say that this is a divine anime.

I watched the first episode of Daima, and as you can see from the preview, if you're a fan of the Buu saga, you'll be excited from start to finish. The Buu saga is even more amazingly drawn than the amazing drawings of the original saga recap and the Cell saga at the beginning of Super Hero. It also felt like the character from the original saga came back and spoke for the first time in a long time, and it was really great.
