A stroke is one of the few pathologies that require immediate medical attention. Specialists are given only the first hour and a half for it. If this time is missed, the consequences can be disastrous, up to complete paralysis. In this regard, doctors recommend to monitor your health more closely and pay attention to even not obvious symptoms. These include weakness, dizziness, and numbness of an arm or leg that last no more than 15-30 minutes. The unpleasant sensations may soon disappear, but this does not mean that the threat has receded.
Evgeny Shirokov recommends to undergo a medical examination, otherwise a real stroke may occur throughout the year. According to the doctor, with the so-called minor stroke, the consequences of which can be seen on CT or MRI, there is no critical brain damage. Doctors characterize this condition as a transient ischemic attack, which may be a harbinger of a more serious pathology of the brain.
Signs of a true stroke include facial asymmetry, imbalance, speech disorder, confusion, severe headache with high blood pressure, numbness in various parts of the body, and others.
