DJI drones will be banned from sale in the US

The China Counter-Drone Act is part of the US National Defense Authorization Act of 2025. Although the House of Representatives has not yet voted to ban DJI, this does not mean that the sale of these drones in the US will be stopped, as the bill must pass through the Senate. However, according to the media, there is a greater probability that the ban will be approved.

The US has long spoken about the need to ban the sale of DJI drones, due to the fact that 6% of the company's shares are in the hands of state structures of the PRC, and DJI itself controls more than 70% of the global drone market. The movement toward a ban now appears to be gaining momentum.

If passed, the ban would only apply to sales; owners of already purchased drones will be allowed to continue using them.
