Disruptions, sabotage, damage: Finland announced large-scale influence operations by the Russian Federation

Sabotage actions that may be linked to Russia regularly occur in Finland.

This is reported by Reuters with reference to the words of the Minister of the Interior of Finland, Lulu Ranne.

“We are faced with interruptions, sabotage, all kinds of damage and instrumentalized migration. This creates a general feeling of uncertainty and blurs the awareness of what is true and what is not, she emphasized.

According to Ranne, many similar cases are still under investigation. “However, taking into account the information of civilian and military intelligence, there is clear evidence that points to Russia”, – the minister noted.

She added that currently Russia is the main party participating in large-scale influence operations against&nbsp ;Finland.

The publication reminds that Finland is far from the first Western country to openly declare mass sabotage with Russian influence. Earlier, similar statements were made by Britain, Germany and the USA.
