Disney: You're going to be disappointed by the subject of their next live-action

In the eyes of fans, Disney producers have been running amok for several years. Between failed casting choices, CGI with questionable aesthetics and overly “woke” modifications made to fairy tales, viewer criticism has not been kind to the firm's recent projects. As for the new live-action that has just been announced, it is unlikely to reverse this trend!

Another live-action announced, fans are going to be sad

Fed up with live-action“, we can read en masse in the comments embellishing each new announcement from Disney concerning a future adaptation in live-action shots. These projects no longer excite fans, especially since the studios have taken the gamble of modernizing/distorting (it all depends on the point of view) their famous fairy tales by taking the path of inclusion and diversity. A shift poorly considered by spectators, who no longer go to the movie theaters as they did for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland or Maleficent... After the recent failure of The Little Mermaid, the big-eared company is not ready to abandon its (lucrative?) vein. According to our colleagues at Deadline, it is currently working on a solo film dedicated to Prince Charming!

Disney: you're going to be disappointed by the subject of their next live-action

According to their sources, Disney has hired director Paul King (the Paddington franchise, Wonka) to helm their new Prince Charming film. Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker (who previously worked with Paul King on Paddington) are co-writers on the project. Originally, this character represents Cinderella's love interest in the animated film dedicated to her. Later, it became a generic term to designate the conquests of the heroines of the great classics like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.Nothing indicates that this project will be connected in any way to the famous orphan and her glass sandal.

And you, what do you think of this film about Prince Charming?
