On April 12, 2024, Disneyland Paris celebrated its 32nd anniversary and on this occasion, many announcements about future projects for the Parisian theme park were made. Among them, the transformation of an emblematic place of the resort. Today, a first glimpse of what will replace the famous Planet Hollywood has just been shared.
Disneyland Paris completely transforms Disney Village
Last April, Disneyland Paris shared its future projects as part of its 32nd anniversary. The goal for the big-eared firm is to to offer an even more magical and immersive experience to all visitors who come to enjoy the Parisian theme park. Among the projects, the metamorphosis of Disney Village was announced. This part of the theme park is a real link between the two theme parks as well as the resort hotels. The company has also closed the famous Planet Hollywood after several years of service. The establishment, which was a restaurant and a museum, closed its doors permanently in January 2023 so that the building could be completely renovated and transformed to offer visitors a new entertainment and dining space.

An XXL Italian restaurant at Disney Village
Today, Disneyland Paris and Bertrand Hospitality unveiled a visual of the XXL restaurant that will replace Planet Hollywood at the entrance to Disney Village. Thus, it is the Italian restaurant Casa Giulia that will offer traditional cuisine but revisited to its future family clientele. The establishment will be able to accommodate 500 people to offer table service and also the possibility of opting for take-out.
In the visual shared to give us an idea of the appearance of this future restaurant, we notice that the immense sphere has disappeared. The establishment with a surface area of 2500 m2 will have two floors with a terrace accessible from the first.
On the culinary side, customers will be able to enjoy classic Italian cuisine revisited. The objective for the Bertrand Hospitality group (Burger King, …) is to offer “customers memorable taste experiences in neat and unique environments“. Thus, Casa Giulia will open in 2026 after Brasserie Rosalie, a new restaurant in the French in place of Café Mickey and which pays tribute to Walt Disney's wife.
The year 2026 will be rich in new features because after the transformation of Disney Village, visitors will be able to discover the World of Frozen before the land dedicated to the Lion King called Pride Land opens its doors later.
