Let's not beat around the bush, the scene in question focuses on Gambit, the superhero played by Channing Tatum on screen, and that Ryan Reynolds has been dreaming of seeing on screen in a solo film for years. And the recently revealed hidden scene could well tease a bright future within the MCU for the character.

a promising hidden scene for the future of the MCU?

On his X and Instagram accounts, Ryan Reynolds shared a 20-second hidden scenein which we follow someone walking among the corpses following the assault on the Cassandra Nova base. A close-up on his face then allows us to see that it is Gambit, proving that the superhero played by Channing Tatum survived. Better still: keen observers will have noticed the reflection of what appears to be a portal in the character's eyes when he looks at the camera, which suggests that Gambit has managed to escape from the Void. What can we hope for his return for a future solo project in the MCU?

If we talk about a “hidden” scene and not a “cut”, it's because an alternate version is actually visible on one of the many TVA screensin another scene of the film, which you can find in response to Ryan Reynolds' tweet. We bet you didn't notice this detail!
