Marvel unveils the brand new Deadpool who will be responsible for replacing Wade Wilson, since his death.
deadpool is dead
Marvel has been tickling the top again since the release ofDeadpool & Wolverine. The latest MCU film continues to break records and counters. In addition to being among the films that have generated the most greenbacks in the cinematic universe, this third installment of the adventures of the merc with a mouth has become the highest-grossing R-rated film (rated R 17 and over) of all time, ahead of a certain Joker by Todd de Philips, whose second installment, Joker: Folie à Deux, will be released in theaters on October 2nd.
While on the big screen, the character is still anchored in his costume, on paper, Marvel has decided to make changes this summer. In Deadpool #6 by Cody Ziglar and Rogê Antônio, which will arrive in September, the House of Ideas has decided to kill its superheroFrom the hands of the new villain Death Grip. «This is the first issue of a new era and killing Deadpool NOW would be a crazy thing to do. TO DO. “That's exactly why we do it,” reveals an editor's note.
Ellie Camacho takes over
À ComicBook, Cody Ziglar explained that «Much of the conflict revolves around Death Grip trying to find that unbeatable person (Deadpool) and see what he can learn from someone who is unbeatable. If your goal in life is to learn deadly martial arts, what better way to do it than to train on someone who seemingly can't be killed?
But Deadpool's death serves as a setup for the arrival of his daughter, Ellie Camacho, who will replace him in the official suit. Marvel has revealed two previews of this handover by artists Taurin Clarke (for Deadpool #7), and on Mark Bagley's alternate cover.
We know that she will receive training from her father's old enemy, Taskmaster, who became known by training the henchmen of other renowned supervillains. “Wade has fallen, and his daughter Ellie has taken over!”, we read in the preamble. “Taskmaster continues his mercenary training, but what he really wants is revenge. And to achieve this, he will need the princess's help.”
Here is a radical change made by Marvel. Will Ellie Camacho wear the Deadpool costume for life? It's hard to imagine the definitive death of one of the most adored superheroes in the Marvel cinematic universe. We'll have to look at this Deadpool #7 to get some initial answers.
