Deadpool 3: Ryan Reynolds defeats Green Lantern

No, the public will not let Ryan Reynolds forget that before playing Deadpool, he had less successful times in the role of Green Lantern! It must be said that the star is not proud of having played in this mediocre superhero film, which neither the press nor the spectators appreciate… Fortunately, the actor takes this failure in his career with a lot of humor, and does not hesitate to take down this turnip himself!

Deadpool 3: Ryan Reynolds destroys Green Lantern

nobody likes Green Lantern-and Ryan Reynolds even less than the others!

Ryan Reynolds is a genius: rather than letting himself be discredited by his career mistakes, he's the first to laugh at them! After playing a failed first version of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, then Green Lantern in the 2011 flop of the same name, he (finally) found fame thanks to the bloody and fun return of Wade Wilson in 2016. The actor decided to joke about these failures, notably by killing his failed characters in the post-credits scene of Deadpool 2 in 2018. Which doesn't stop him from having no desire to watch Green Lantern, which he particularly hates, in the company of his children! Even if by his own admission, he watched it during the pandemic, he explains to our colleagues at ET that he prefers to watch anything with his family rather than this turkey.

Actually, I would reallyrather watch a f***ing 24-hour marathon of PAW Patrol. But I didn't watch it with my family. My kids saw the trailer. […] During this time [the pandemic], I had finished Netflix, finished HBO Max, finished every streaming platform that there was. I watched every Bob Ross special on upside down, even the one that's a remake of The Exorcist, and then it was time to watch Green Lantern, yes. I'll say I was a little drunk. That's also the truth.

And you, have you seen Green Lantern again since it came out over ten years ago?
