A little earlier in the year, we revealed to you that this cult film about Batman would be entitled to a sequel, to the great delight of fans of animated series. And more recently, it is another unusual work centered on the Dark Knight that gave news of itself, revealing that it too would return to the forefront for new adventures.
The return of an improbable character in the DC universe
When we think of the emblematic superheroes of the In the DC universe, two names usually come to mind directly. the mind, know Superman and Batman. These two characters who are complete opposites have become true icons of pop culture, with on one side the omnipotence of the one nicknamed “the Man of Steel”, and on the other the determination of the Dark Knight who, although devoid of superpowers, still manages to compete with some of the most powerful characters in the franchise.
As DC's leading figures, the two have had all sorts of stories, some of which can be atypical to say the least. For example, the Gotham City vigilante collaborated with an unexpected character last year in the comic book series Batman – Santa Claus: Silent Knight. As its name suggests, this unusual crossover from Jeff Parker saw Batman team up with Santa Claus in a new adventure for the holiday season.

And it seems that this collaboration pleased the fans enough for DC Comics to decide to do it again this year with Batman – Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns. This new comic book series, consisting of five issues, will debut on November 27, 2024 with the release of the first issue. The plot is presented as follows:
In the five-issue Batman – Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns, horrors haunt the Christmas season. Dead bodies litter the countryside, each marked with a strange symbol. The Justice League responds, but it's a trap! The heroes are torn from our world, but not before Batman helps Robin escape. Now Damian Wayne must seek out Zatanna and the one and only Santa Claus if he is to save his friends and family.
