Ukrainian cultural activist, music producer and DJ Daria Kolomiets created a playlist of Ukrainian musicians who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, combat medical battalions or died tragically in battle.< /p>

33 musicians, including STASYK, Liza Zharikova, O.Torvald, Oleksandr Polozhinsky, “Zhadan and Dogs”, Katya Chilly and The Vyo.

Here you can hear everything: from Ukrainian metal, rock, punk and drum and bass to funk, folk and pop music. Courage and love for one's country are not defined by genres or styles, said Daria Kolomiets.

Several tracks from the playlist have already been played on the independent American radio station KEXP, which specializes in indie and alternative music. Among other things, the station is known for its KEXP Live Studio series on YouTube.

At various times in the KEXP studio, Cigarettes After Sex, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The XX, Jungle, Mac DeMarco, Arctic Monkeys, Stromae, Florence & the Machine and others performed. Among Ukrainian artists, DakhaBrakha and Dakh Daughters were noted for their performances on the radio station.

Daria Kolomiets is a Ukrainian cultural activist, music producer, selector and DJ, founder of the MusiCures mobile application (streaming Ukrainian music 24/7) and the podcast “War Diary” with stories of people about experiencing the beginning of a full-scale war from the first person.
