Despite being called up for the World Cup in Qatar, the Brazilian Dani Alves was hurt for not transcending with the Pumas of UNAM in his first tournament in the Liga MX

b>. In an interview with ESPN, said that in recent days the former Barcelona was not thinking about the World Cup, but about being able to compete in the Liguilla of the Apertura 2022.

“He He had been talking to me a lot, we weren't talking about the World Cup, he was very hurt for not winning, he wasn't used to these things and he told me to stay calm because we're going to move it forward”

“ He did a lot of things for the group and we couldn't twist the results situation, but he felt very bad and made a big effort, but when things don't work out, it's better to break the inertia at once, because otherwise you harm a lot of people and you don't have to harm the footballer”, the South American confessed to this portal.

In this sense, and unlike many Brazilian fans, Lillini confessed that he was happy that Alves managed to reach his third World Cup, as he maintained that he has won by being one of the best full-backs in history and being the player with the most cups won.

“He came to Pumas to meet an objective, has played. He has done well, contrary to those who say anything outrageous […] I am happy for him because he is of an age that could be at home, but he continues to compete, he gets angry, he wants to be there and the prize came to him, which is yet another World Cup ”

I even want the number “33″ to be the starting side of the Scratch du Oro and have a great World Cup: “Except for the final against Argentina, he's going to do very well good”, he declared between laughs.

Regarding the criticism for allowing Alves to start the 90 minutes in all the matches he played in Mexico, the Argentine argued that it was due to his quality and not to a clause in his contract, since any strategist who have it, I would use it all the time without hesitation.
