Russians who do not want to go to war because of mobilization announced by their own state will not receive humanitarian visas from the Czech Republic. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky, transmits "Czech Radio".

At the same time, as Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said, asylum applications will be considered.

If anyone -something will come to us, his request will be considered as part of the standard process of making a decision on obtaining asylum.

On September 22, the European Commission announced plans to discuss with the EU countries the issues of issuing humanitarian visas to Russians who left the country

European Commission representative Anita Hipper said that “The European Union must guarantee the right of entry for all asylum seekers”, but the decision on border control remains for each country.
