According to the chef, when you want to cook something new, add cheese and tomato puree from fresh Ukrainian tomatoes to the classic meatballs. A new, bright taste of the dish is guaranteed.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken minced meat – 700 g;
  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Breading crumbs – 3 tbsp. l;
  • Salt, pepper;
  • Dried garlic – 1-2 tsp;
  • Paprika – 1 tsp;
  • Mozzarella cheese – 150 g (or mini mozzarella);

Sauce:

  • Onion – 1 pc;
  • Flour – 1 tablespoon;
  • Tomato puree “Little Chef” – 400 ml;
  • Water – 350 ml;
  • Fresh basil;
  • Salt, pepper, sugar;
  • Dried parsley.

Cooking process:

1. Add an egg, breadcrumbs and spices to the minced meat. Mix the minced meat and let it stand for 20 minutes.

2. Form patties and put cheese in the middle.

3. Fry the cutlets on a heated pan on both sides and set aside.

4. For tomato sauce, fry diced onion for 5 minutes. Add flour and fry for another 1 min.

5. Pour water and tomato puree.

6. Next, add dried parsley, fresh basil, and spices to taste and return the cutlets to the sauce.

7. Cook covered over low heat for 15 minutes.
