Curiosity of the day: Paddington Bear officially received a British passport

Paddington Bear < p>The hero of the books and films Paddington Bear – official name Paddington Brown (from the English – brown) – received a British passport.

The Guradian writes about it.

While working on the film “The Adventures of Paddington 3”, producer Rob Silva turned to the British Home Office and asked to issue a passport sample as props for filming. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs staff made a real document for Paddington.

In the passport, they indicated that Paddington Brown is a bear, and also pasted his photo. Such documents were no longer issued to any of the fictional characters.

You'd never think the MIA had a sense of humor, but they just brought him [Paddington] to the list as Bear, – noted Silva.
