From August 1, the rules for crossing the border will change. Against the background of the more dangerous strain of coronavirus "BA.5" the rules will become more stringent.

According to Apostrophe.ua, citizens of Ukraine will be able to cross the border without hindrance if they have at least one dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus disease COVID-19.

BAGNET recalls that not so long ago in The Ministry of Health announced that a new strain of coronavirus disease was recorded in Ukraine – "BA.5", a variety of "Omicron".

The Ministry of Health noted that they officially registered seven cases of this type of coronavirus in the Chernivtsi region. However, it is quite possible that "BA.5" spread to other regions.
