The Windward City club announced at the end of the afternoon that it had added the names of striker Ryan Carpenter and defender Nicolas Beaudin to the list of players unavailable due to the coronavirus.
Carpenter has appeared in nine games this season, scoring one goal, while Quebecer Beaudin has appeared in Chicago’s most recent games.
They join their teammates Alex DeBrincat and Adam Boqvist, on the list since Monday, and Lucas Wallmark, absent since Wednesday.
Friday night, the Blackhawks were visited by the Columbus Blue Jackets and lost by a score of 2 to 1.
Chicago’s next match is due to take place on Sunday, still at home, against these same Blue Jackets. Since the start of the season, the Blackhawks have maintained a 2-4-3 record.
