COVID-19: Slight recovery, but still encouraging in the Quebec City region

Despite a slight increase in new infections, the Capitale-Nationale region remains below the 100 daily case mark for the fourth time in the last five days.

90 new cases are added to the results of the Quebec region on Friday. A total of 12 deaths are also added to the data for the Capitale-Nationale, for a total of 864 since the start of the crisis.

On the South Shore, the Chaudière-Appalaches region is also experiencing a slight increase in new cases, with 76 tests declared positive in the last 24 hours. In terms of deaths, three unfortunately add up to the regional toll, for a total of 232.

As for Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, the data are once again very encouraging on Friday with only 15 new infections. Five deaths have been added in the last 24 hours.
