Due to a lack of staff on each side (contact tracing), the NBA postponed a game that was to pit the San Antonio Spurs against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
For the first time in 22 postponements, neither team had the minimum of eight players available.
A total of 24 clubs have experienced at least one postponement. Memphis and Washington each have six postponed games.
Elsewhere, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George of the Clippers will not play in Atlanta on Tuesday, due to league protocols regarding the pandemic.
A source familiar with the matter said Leonard and George could be given the green light to play later during the Clippers’ trip.
Miami, Orlando, New York, Brooklyn and Cleveland are the other stops on this trip.
On Wednesday, the Celtics are due to play in San Antonio, while the Pelicans are due to host the Wizards.
