Coronavirus “kraken” appeared in Ukraine

Previously, a new strain of Kraken coronavirus (XBB.1.5) has been detected in more than 30 countries, including the United States.
« ;The case was recorded in the Sumy region in a person who had not been vaccinated against coronavirus, — The Ministry of Health said in a statement.
The department recalled that, according to the World Health Organization, XBB.1.5 can cause serious illness in older people in people with weakened immune systems.
The Ministry of Health advised Ukrainians to get vaccinated against coronavirus.
