Coppola filming memoirs of Elvis Presley's wife

Euphoria star Jacob Elordi will play Elvis Presley and Kaley Spenny (Bad Times at the El Royale) will play his wife Priscilla Beaulieu Presley in Sofia Coppola's new film Priscilla. Variety reports.

The biopic is based on Priscilla Beaulieu Presley's 1985 memoir Elvis and Me.

“Elvis and Me”

In addition to writing and directing film Coppola is also the producer of the project. The production is funded by The Apartment and Sony Stage 6 Films. Coppola also added cinematographer Philippe Le Sourda, costume designer Stacey Battat, editor Sarah Flack and production designer Tamara Deverell to the project.

The film will begin shooting in the fall in Toronto.

&#8220 ;Priscilla” is the third collaboration between Coppola and A24 after On the Rocks and The Bling Ring. The partners are also working on an adaptation of Edith Wharton's Customs of the Country series.

As ProShoKino reported, the first wife of cult singer and actor Elvis Presley, Priscilla, has released a new clip from Baz Luhrmann's Elvis with Austin Butler (“Once in Hollywood”) in the title role. Priscilla has already seen the film and was delighted.
