(Ottawa) Federal Conservatives say they have raised more than $ 7.6 million in the last three months of 2020.
These figures are released as all federal parties gear up for a general election that could be called this year.
The Conservatives say that in the first six months under their new leader, Erin O’Toole, they raised $ 13.3 million. For Mr. O’Toole, these good results signify that voters buy into his message: “put Canada to work”.
Federal parties’ financial results for the last quarter of 2020 begin to be filed with Elections Canada.
We thus learn that the Bloc Québécois raised a little over $ 961,000 during this period.
