In Moscow, individuals subject to conscription into the army who did not appear at military registration and enlistment offices in response to summonses have begun to receive mass notifications about a ban on leaving Russia, reports “Important Stories”, “Radio Liberty”.
The notifications are sent to phones in the form of SMS, as well as in the form of notifications on the city services portal mos.ru.
It is noted that the notifications also mention “other restrictions”. Most likely, we are talking about a ban on disposing of real estate, obtaining a foreign passport, taking out loans, registering vehicles and individual entrepreneurs. The corresponding amendments to the law “On military duty” were adopted in Russia this year.

The Moscow Times reports that in addition to sending out electronic notifications, mass raids on conscripts have also resumed in Moscow. Police detain young people at their place of residence, on the street or in the metro, after which they are taken to the police department or to the assembly point on Ugreshskaya Street.
In September, a website for a single register of Russians liable for military service was launched in Russia. It was reported that electronic summonses to the army would be posted there from November. According to the new legislation, such a summons will be considered delivered 7 days after its placement in the register. Military commissars no longer need to obtain the conscript's signature stating that he knows about the decision of the draft board, as was the case before.
