Many Ukrainians have noticed that during power outages, 4G changes to E (EDGE), and the connection becomes unstable. This happens due to overloading of mobile operators' networks.
Under normal conditions, the majority of Internet traffic falls on home or office Internet. However, during blackouts, users massively switch to mobile Internet, which leads to an increase in the load on the mobile network almost 10 times. As a result, communication and the Internet become unstable.
