The virtual edition of the ComediHa comedy festival! Fest, which ended last Thursday, drew no less than 82,700 spectators to ComediHa.TV.
The organization did a calculation to estimate the number of viewers versus the number of links sold, since multiple people in the same household could view a single link.
Festival director Josée Charland said she was “very happy with the result” of this first digital experience.
Despite the pandemic, the ComediHa! Fest was able to present its six galas, the opening night of ComediHa! Club, as well as the Mystery show by Phil Laprise.
“It was a tour de force in terms of hospitality and logistics, and everyone, both artists and artisans, was impressed and happy to be there for the occasion. Being able to practice our profession again in a semblance of normality was very saving, ”she said.
Recorded at the Capitole de Québec, the ComediHa! will be broadcast on February 5, 9 p.m., on ICI Télé, before being rebroadcast on Canal D.
