Coach “Zenith” Tymoshchuk deprived of all state awards of Ukraine

Former midfielder of the Ukraine national team, coach of St. Petersburg"Zenith" Anatoliy Tymoshchuk was included in the Ukrainian sanctions list and stripped of all state awards. This was reported on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
Tymoshchuk was among 119 people included in the list approved by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. Sanctions were imposed against the athlete on 14 points, one of which reads: "deprivation of state awards of Ukraine, other forms of encouragement".
In addition, all assets of Tymoshchuk are blocked. He is prohibited from flying over Ukrainian territory, and also, among other things, the coach received a ban on contacts with Ukraine in sports. It is worth noting that all sanctions are temporary, their term is limited to 10 years.
BAGNET reminds, in total, Tymoshchuk played 144 matches for the national team of Ukraine and is a record holder national team for this indicator. He played for "Zenith" from 2007 to 2009 and from 2013 to 2015. Together with blue-white-blue he twice became the champion of Russia as as a player, won the Cup of Russia, helped "Zenith" win the UEFA Cup and Super Cup. He ended his career in 2017 and a month later joined the coaching staff of the St. Petersburg team.
