The Finnish youth movement Kokoumusnuoret (“Nationalist Youth”) posted an ad reminding of Russian military actions in Ukraine on a board near the Russian border.

Kokoumusnuoret notes that that in recent weeks more and more tourists from Russia have received visas to travel to Finland. These visas can be used to circumvent sanctions and enter other Schengen countries.

“Kokoumusnuoret does not accept such a procedure, but requires the government to return from vacation and impose a visa ban (Russians< /em>)", – The press release of the youth movement says.

They promise to pay for an ad on an advertising billboard before the introduction of such a ban, which will be seen by Russian travelers crossing the Finnish border in Vaalimaa: “While you are resting, many Ukrainians were left without a home, in who will return.

Kokoumusnuoret spokesman Joel Elmachi said in a comment to Iltalehti that the message began to appear on a billboard in Vaalimaa from Monday afternoon. "We wanted to remind you of the reality prevailing in Ukraine", – he explains.

As reported, the heads of the parliamentary factions of the ruling parties in Finland are ready to limit the issuance of tourist visas to Russians. At the same time, they noted that possible restrictions should not apply to dissidents and those who have relatives in Finland.
