Through the Secretariat of Culture of the Government of Mexico, the Cineteca reported its reopening with the Open Air Forum program "Gabriel Figueroa" where it will screen three different Mexican films in the open air.
The authorities of the venue indicated that the Entrance to the facilities and gardens of the Cineteca is from 3:00 p.m. at the access located on Avenida México Coyoacán, admission is free and free for all the public. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the screening of the outdoor function will begin.

For the second day of outdoor performances, the Cineteca will present the film El rincón de las virgins directed by Alberto Isaac. Lasting 112 minutes, the plot is inspired by the literary work El llano en llamas, by Juan Rulfo.
The story tells the anecdotes of the curandero Anacleto Morones who travels the landscapes of Comala saving souls through pleasure. A comedy that brings together mythical characters from classic cinema that, through Mexican humor, bring Rulfo's universe to the big screen.

The last film to be screened at the Foro Al Aire Libre is Passion according to Berenice de Jaime Humberto Hermosillo who was part of the 1976 International Film Festival.
With a duration of 100 minutes, the film places the audience in the state of Aguascalientes where they will see the story of Berenice, an attractive young woman who lost her husband. In her situation as a widow, she meets the son of a doctor and falls completely in love, which will lead to the passionate plot of the whole story.

The National Cinematheque explained that its open-air screenings will be limited to a total of 150 people , in the gardens of the place they have set up some rugs where attendees can sit down to enjoy the show.
