The Dark Knight star and Academy Award winner Christian Bale played Gorr the Godslayer in the new Thor: Love and Thunder without knowing anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He admitted this in an interview with Total Film.

“People said, look, he's joined the MCU! And I thought: where did you join? I didn't join, thanks. Cinematic universe? So, we need to find out what it is,” Bale said.
According to the actor, the Aphex Twin “Come to Daddy” video helped him play the character.

As well as an image of the Nosferatu vampire from Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's classic horror film.
Thor 4 will premiere in theaters on July 7, 2022.
