Chinese customs officials detained a woman who was carrying 350 Nintendo Switch cartridges worth $9,660 in her bra

More than 300 cartridges of Nintendo Switch games were almost smuggled into China in a woman's bra, but something went wrong at the end of the journey.

What is known

Chinese customs officers at the port of Liantang noticed the woman's nervous behavior. One of the customs officials also thought her breasts “looked unusual” so they took her out of the passenger line for further inspection.

During the search, the woman was found to be carrying 350 Nintendo Switch cartridges in her bra , which she tried to deliver to the territory of mainland China.

The initial value of the smuggled goods was 70,000 yuan ($9,660).

As Tomshardware writes, importing or exporting goods from China without paying the relevant taxes , as in most countries, is considered contraband and is illegal. Assuming that Nintendo Switch cartridges are not prohibited or restricted goods, the suspect may be fined "not more than three times the duty payable but evaded".
