Chinese companies are sanctioned for supporting the Russian army

Five Chinese companies cooperating with the Russian military fell under US sanctions.

The US included five Chinese companies in the “black” a list of exporters for violating sanctions related to supporting the Russian defense industry before and during the war in Ukraine, according to the Financial Times.

The Ministry of Commerce included Chinese companies in the “list of subjects”, which effectively prohibits American companies to export products to these countries. These companies include Connec Electronic, King Pai Technology, Sinno Electronics, Winninc Electronic and World Jetta (HK) Logistics.

“Today's actions send a powerful signal to businesses and individuals around the world that if they seek to support Russia, the US will cut them off”, – said US Undersecretary of Commerce Alan Esteves.
