The tests took place in Inner Mongolia. Nebula-1 is expected to be the first of its kind reusable heavy rocket with oxygen-kerosene engines.

During the tests, 10 of the 11 planned tasks were completed. In particular, the launch, climb, and engine separation were successful. However, the launch vehicle could not be landed as planned. During the hard landing, it exploded.

Deep Blue Aerospace plans to conduct the first orbital test flight of Nebula-1 by the end of 2024.
