Chinese companies export military equipment to Belarusian companies that are under European and US sanctions. In turn, Belarusian entrepreneurs have close ties with Russia. Nikkei publication writes about it.

Details

It is noted that China officially does not recognize that it supplies weapons to the Russian Federation, but at the same time exports military equipment to Belarus, where weapons are produced, in particular for the Russian Armed Forces.

In particular, the Belarusian opposition group BelPol received contracts, payment records and other information from many industry sources about transactions between companies from Belarus and the PRC.

So, recently, the Chinese company Green Cycle Energy received an order from the Belarusian “BelOMO Holding” for 3,000 components for the LAD-21T laser targeting module.

The module itself is used by the military to form laser guidance for high-precision bombs and missiles from guided by a laser beam.

Payment under the contract was made in the national currency of China — yuan and passed through the Shanghai branch of the Russian state bank VTB.

Also  on February 1, 2024, the Chinese company Morotack signed a contract with “Diaproektor”, which is a subsidiary of the BelOMO group, for 200 units of components called “flanges” in the amount of 114 thousand yuan.

The publication emphasizes that all these components are very important for creating modern guidance systems. Payment under the contract was made through Belarusian and Chinese banks.

In turn, the BelOMO group closely cooperates with Russian defense and industrial companies, which allows Russia to receive products of Belarusian enterprises for its own army.

Yes , for example, the company “Precision laser systems” from the city of St. Petersburg supplied the company “Diaproektor” with components for lasers, which are used to create laser rangefinders as part of the fire control system “Sosna-U” and T-72B3 tanks.

< p>The publication claims that 78 units of these components were sold at a price of 499,200 US dollars.

In particular, in February 2023, “Diaproektor” indicated in the order that  the components will be delivered to a Belarusian defense contractor “Peleng” “for the production of “Sosna-U” within the framework of the state defense order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation”.
