China supplies 60% of spare parts for Russian weapons

60% of spare parts in Russia weapons are supplied by China

About 60% of foreign parts found in Russian weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine come through China.

This was reported by the adviser to the President of Ukraine  Vladyslav Vlasyuk in Brussels, writes Reuters.

According to Vlasyuk, despite Western sanctions, the Russian Federation will continue to provide its military with Western microchips and semiconductors.

China is the main supplier of foreign weapons parts to the Russian Federation, said Vlasyuk.

The Russian Federation also bought thousands of drones from Iran.

“If you take all conventional types of weapons and count the components of foreign production – about 60 percent will come from China. We had long negotiations with some manufacturers about this,” said the adviser to the President of Ukraine.

According to him, components in Russian weapons also come from the USA, the Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Switzerland and other Western countries.

Vlasyuk said that Ukraine has found a number of advanced chips from American companies, such as Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Xilinx, owned by AMD, Cypress Semiconductor, owned by Germany's Infineon, and Altera, a subsidiary Intel company.

According to documents shown to journalists by Vlasyuk, some products were manufactured more than 10 years ago, and others last year.
