China is a real and growing cyber threat to Great Britain.
This was stated by the head of the British intelligence service GCHQ, Anne Kist. -Butler, Reuters reports.
She added that while Russia and Iran are immediate threats, China is the challenge that defines the era.
“In cyberspace, we believe that the irresponsible actions of the PRC weaken the security of the Internet for everyone”, – said Kist-Butler.
In turn, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in a speech last month that entities linked to the Chinese state had conducted “malicious cyber campaigns” against British legislators.
