In honor of the anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth, China decided to publicly demonstrate its two new aircraft. The advanced fighters could be seen over various cities of the country the other day.
So, the first to be “lit up” was the JH-XX fighter-bomber, the production of which is probably carried out by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group. Later, a pure fighter from the new generation of Chinese combat aircraft, the J-36, was spotted over Shenyang. It is being developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, reports 24 Channel with reference to Defense Express.
According to analysts, the J-36 does not have a vertical stabilizer. Due to this feature, it is more inconspicuous than other fighters.
The J-36 is obviously smaller and lighter than the JH-XX, as indicated by the usual three-point landing gear with single wheels. This aircraft has a traditional two-engine layout, and all weapons should be placed in internal compartments.
The Defense Express publication believes that the available footage of the J-36 does not exclude the possibility that it could be a drone.

Clearest view of China's second 6th gen fighter design, this one is designed by SAC.
It's smaller with a 2 engine set up, it's also a tailless flying wing design, albeit more conventional compared to the CAC's 3 engine design.
From the looks of it, this SAC design is more… pic.twitter.com/tqUQYRD01s
