In the early morning of January 10, Warsaw's Frederic Chopin Airport temporarily suspended passenger services due to a power outage.
This was reported by RMF24.
The outage occurred at around 3 a.m. during testing of the airport's systems, resulting in problems with check-in and other routine procedures. Passenger service and other functions have been temporarily suspended.
“Airport services are working on site to restore full system functionality,” – the airport administration noted on X (Twitter).
There were long queues in the terminals, and information about scheduled arrivals or departures of flights could not be seen on the screens.
In the morning, the airport press service reported that the main component of the malfunction had been eliminated.
In the latest update on social networks, it was announced that flights were arriving, and passengers of departing flights could already check in according to the usual procedure. People who have tickets for January 10 were urged to come, but to follow further announcements from the airport and airlines.
